Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and maintain optimal physical function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' physical status, functional abilities, and age-specific needs to determine their current level of functioning, self-care, self-responsibility, independence, and quality of life.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that involve the patient, family, and social support systems, and coordinate with other healthcare disciplines as needed.
  • Provide high-quality treatment programs to patients ranging in age from pediatric to geriatric, in compliance with competency checklists.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records, adhering to departmental guidelines and protocols.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate therapy activities when appropriate.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy.
  • Current Physical Therapist License (Washington and Oregon) and National Provider Identifier required at hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification within 2 months of hire.
  • Basic to moderate computer skills to complete documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of patient assessment and treatment specific to patient load.
  • Orthopedic skills and experience working with diverse patient populations.
  • Group dynamics and leadership skills.
