POSITION SUMMARY

As a Service Operations Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of NOV products at customer locations. Your expertise will be essential in delivering high-quality service and support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Travel to client sites for the installation, commissioning, testing, calibration, and training on the safe and effective use of NOV products.
• Execute field installations and calibrations of various sensors and systems.
• Carry out software and hardware upgrades in the field, providing training to customers on system operation.
• Relay field failures and feedback to relevant departments for continuous improvement.
• Manage billing, inventory, and associated documentation.
• Ensure timely completion and submission of field service reports.

Qualifications:
• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience, with a preference for candidates possessing 2+ years of technical experience.
• Availability to travel over 75% of the time.
• Local technicians will follow a work schedule of 10 days on, 4 days off, while rotational technicians will work 14 days on, 14 days off.
• Willingness to work 12+ hours daily during scheduled periods.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with oil and gas field components, including both software and hardware aspects.
• Availability for on-call duties.
• Preferred background in electrical systems.
• All candidates must successfully pass a background check, driving record check, and drug screening.
