Senior Engineering Program Manager for Machine Learning

As a Senior Engineering Program Manager, you'll play a critical role in driving the development of innovative ML-powered products that delight our customers. About the Role

  1. Develop and execute project timelines with clear dependencies, critical path, and systematic methodology to communicate status. Proactively handle risks and mitigations, and re-plan as events warrant. Foster alignment across the organization and between teams.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define requirements around a privacy-focused approach to data collection and evaluation vital to launch and maintain premier Apple software products.
  3. Work with instrumentation, data science, and data engineering teams to develop data collection and evaluation solutions.
  4. Partner with dynamic cross-functional engineering teams to optimize and lead measurement and evaluation efforts.
  5. Work with engineering, privacy, and legal teams to develop safe data collection.
  6. Collaborate with research teams to develop long-term evaluation solutions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in driving large-scale programs building machine learning-powered products
  • Excellent program management skills, including program structuring and managing multiple work streams interdependently
  • Proven track record of orchestrating the delivery of multiple significant client/server software products requiring large organizations (100+)
  • Strong analytical skills and a curiosity to peel the onion to discover opportunities for impact and better user experience
  • Ability to work across a large number of teams to enforce process and efficient outcomes in a data-driven environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence
  • BS/MS degree in EE/CS/CE or equivalent

  • MS degree in EE/CS/CE or equivalent
