Senior Engineering Program Manager for Machine Learning

As a Senior Engineering Program Manager, you'll play a critical role in driving the development of innovative ML-powered products that delight our customers. About the Role
- Develop and execute project timelines with clear dependencies, critical path, and systematic methodology to communicate status. Proactively handle risks and mitigations, and re-plan as events warrant. Foster alignment across the organization and between teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define requirements around a privacy-focused approach to data collection and evaluation vital to launch and maintain premier Apple software products.
- Work with instrumentation, data science, and data engineering teams to develop data collection and evaluation solutions.
- Partner with dynamic cross-functional engineering teams to optimize and lead measurement and evaluation efforts.
- Work with engineering, privacy, and legal teams to develop safe data collection.
- Collaborate with research teams to develop long-term evaluation solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in driving large-scale programs building machine learning-powered products
- Excellent program management skills, including program structuring and managing multiple work streams interdependently
- Proven track record of orchestrating the delivery of multiple significant client/server software products requiring large organizations (100+)
- Strong analytical skills and a curiosity to peel the onion to discover opportunities for impact and better user experience
- Ability to work across a large number of teams to enforce process and efficient outcomes in a data-driven environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence
- BS/MS degree in EE/CS/CE or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- MS degree in EE/CS/CE or equivalent
