Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and testing to identify individualized needs of patients
  • Develop and implement result-oriented treatment plans, including clear, measurable goals
  • Provide direct patient care, performing specialized treatments according to individualized plans of care
  • Collaborate with other members of the patient care team to plan for continued care, support, and follow-up after discharge
  • Assist in supervising staff and students, and develop in-service training programs for continuing staff development
Requirements
  • Graduation from physical therapy school accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
  • Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Georgia
  • One year of experience as a physical therapist
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association
