Radiologic Technologist with CT Imaging Expertise

At Memorial Hermann Health System, we are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. This exciting opportunity is based in Nassau Bay, Texas.
Job OverviewWe are looking for a talented professional to perform CT scans and create high-quality images of tissues and internal organs. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with physicians to diagnose and treat patients.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Prepares patients for CT scans, explaining the procedure and administering contrast when necessary.
- Positions patients for the scan, selects appropriate imaging techniques, and ensures technical quality of the scan.
- Enters and monitors patient data, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Performs quality assurance on CT equipment, identifying and reporting any malfunctions or issues.
- Maintains safe working practices, adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- A valid license or temporary license from the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
- Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB-CT) certification in computed tomography or one of the following certifications: Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R), Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N), or Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist or two years of experience as a Radiological Technologist with CT education or experience.
As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
