Radiologic Technologist Job Summary

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in a hospital setting. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients while ensuring their safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow instructions from physicians to obtain high-quality images of patients' bodies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to alleviate anxiety and ensure their understanding of the imaging process.
  • Position patients correctly and adjust imaging equipment to obtain optimal results.
  • Minimize radiation exposure to patients and yourself.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
  • Manage radiology supplies inventory to ensure timely ordering and stock levels.
  • Ensure a safe and clean working environment.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or a related field.
  • Certification/Licenses: ARRT certification in X-ray, state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, and current BLS for healthcare provider CPR/AED certification.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of X-ray equipment operation, safety protocols, and imaging techniques; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
