Primary Accountability

The Family HealthCare Network is seeking a highly skilled Internal Medicine Specialist to join our team. As a Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical services to patients in a Patient Centered Health Home context.

Description of Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide examination and review laboratory, referral, and imaging results to determine a diagnosis.
  • Document visits accurately using appropriate templates and record relevant data to attain a diagnosis.
  • Meet clinical care measures and attain budgeted visits.
  • Provide comprehensive, continuous, and coordinated care managing both common and complex illnesses in adults and the elderly.
  • Manage chronic disease and provide a team-based, patient-centered approach to planned care.

Key Attributes

  • Extensive formal training in Internal Medicine, including a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree.
  • Ability to create complex documents in Microsoft Word and use advanced functions of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Licensed in the state of California as an Internist and board-eligibility or certification in Internal Medicine may be required or desired.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to prepare and execute presentations to large groups.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is $271,434, plus significant additional annual earning potential through outpatient productivity and quality pay, generous retention payments, shift differential pay, and extra shift pay. Sign-on bonus/relocation assistance, annual CME days and reimbursement, generous health and wellness benefits, and retirement packages are also offered.
