Job Overview

FPI Management, Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Affordable Housing Maintenance Operations Manager to lead our maintenance team in providing top-notch services to our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the maintenance team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Oversee the maintenance and capital improvement needs of our properties, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and appliances.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and replacements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in residential property management.
  • Proven track record of successful team leadership and problem-solving.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.
  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate required; industry certification or designation preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with property management software and other relevant technology.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations, particularly those related to affordable housing.
  • Ability to wear a respirator and comply with FPI's facial hair policy.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) matching and paid time off.
