We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Surgical Circulator in our hospital setting. As a key member of our peri-operative team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring a safe and efficient surgical experience.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct patient care in the intra-operative period, utilizing the nursing process to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide a safe and caring environment for individual surgical patients, anticipating their needs and rapidly initiating appropriate nursing interventions.
- Evaluate the safety, cost, and outcomes of patient service, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Circulate proficiently and independently, teaching and acting as a preceptor to new employees, students, or visitors as needed.
- Current unencumbered license by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification (within 6 months of hire).
- Previous Operating Room experience preferred, with computer skills and knowledge of CPSI.
