We are seeking a skilled MRI Imaging Specialist to join our RAYUS Radiology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures on patients, ensuring accurate and high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

(90%) Patient MRI Imaging

  • Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
  • Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the procedure and positioning patients for optimal imaging.
  • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated body parts, providing patient support and adjusting scan parameters as needed.
  • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates and peers.
  • Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations to protect patients, coworkers, and yourself.
  • Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Maintain an orderly and clean work area, promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers.
  • Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
  • Clean and disinfect equipment after each use, ensuring compliance with HIPAA guidelines.

(5%) MRI Department Support

  • Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades.
  • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary.
  • Assist with training new associates, providing resource and technical expertise as applicable.

(5%) Complete other tasks as assigned.
