Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Security Systems Specialist to join our team at M.C. Dean, Inc. As an Electronics Security Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems, performing preventive maintenance requirements, and conducting inspections and evaluations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams on small to moderately complex installation projects
  • Conduct and document daily tool box talks
  • Install all head end equipment at both the local and global level per design packages
  • Program head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV systems
  • Troubleshoot and isolate both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level
  • Provide on-site software commissioning and testing
  • Perform inspections, evaluations, and inventory
Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship status required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to work at various heights up to 60 feet and climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and all types of ladders
  • Ability to lift at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives
Desired Qualifications
  • Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems
  • Experience in installation of Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom Systems Airphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows operating systems, and certifications
Physical Abilities/Requirements
  • Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period
  • Relocates a 12-foot stepladder without assistance
  • Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and all types of ladders
  • Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls, and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis
  • Possesses good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English
