Job Summary

SPA is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to support our team at Hill AFB, UT. The successful candidate will work on the Sentinel Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Group (SIG) program, supporting the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center in the acquisition of the LGM-35A Sentinel (GBSD) ICBM weapon system.

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for collecting, managing, and analyzing technical and programmatic information, updating government systems, and reporting status of projects internally to program management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform system integration reviews as part of a multi-disciplinary team to plan, design, and construct system architecture.
  • Develop and analyze data to evaluate requirements traceability and assess interface documentation.
  • Determine root cause of system failures and recommend corrective actions.
  • Work alongside project management teams to monitor progress of projects.
  • Identify issues in design and construction processes and recommend strategies for improvement.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or other applicable STEM program.
  • Active DoD SECRET clearance (or higher).
  • Minimum 3 years professional experience with systems engineering.
  • Intermediate proficiency with UML or SysML.
  • Ability to execute validation/verification duties and correlate them with design requirements.
