Incentives:

Position Overview:
As a skilled technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle components with minimal supervision. Your expertise will ensure that our customers receive the highest quality service.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute repairs as outlined on the service order with precision and efficiency, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.
2. Identify the root cause of malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
3. Collaborate with the parts department to procure required components.
4. Preserve and label parts for warranty purposes or customer requests.
5. Inspect assigned vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is necessary.
6. Communicate with the service advisor promptly regarding any additional work needed or if repairs cannot be completed on time.
7. Document all performed work and recommendations on the service order.
8. Conduct road tests when necessary or refer to the test technician.
9. Engage in manufacturer-sponsored training programs and events to enhance your skills.
10. Stay updated on manufacturer technical bulletins.
11. Supervise apprentice technicians as assigned.
12. Report any machinery defects or malfunctions to management.
13. Ensure that customer vehicles are maintained in a clean condition and report any changes in appearance or condition immediately.
14. Maintain a tidy and organized shop area.
15. Be accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals, ensuring they are returned in their original condition.
16. Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal and safety protocols.
17. Operate all tools and equipment safely and report any safety concerns to management.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily. The following qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Proficient in writing simple correspondence and effectively presenting information in one-on-one and small group settings.

Education and Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
