We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Traveling Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our team at Nurses First Solutions. As a Traveling Intensive Care Unit Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and education to patients and their families in a fast-paced Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized patient care and education to patients and their families
- Assess and analyze patient health status and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians and monitor patients for adverse reactions or side effects
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
- Respond to emergencies and provide acute care as needed
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice
- Continuously improve nursing knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Washington
- Experience in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit nursing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel to various locations
