Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Hotel Engineer Overnight to join our team at Free-Classifieds-USA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with MEP systems, including air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, and light bulb and A/C filter replacement.
  • Use the Lockout/Tagout system to ensure safe maintenance work practices.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and guests.
  • Adhere to quality expectations and standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in hotel maintenance or a related field.
  • Knowledge of MEP systems and maintenance practices.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
