License Fee Reimbursement
New hires and current employees may be eligible for reimbursement of pharmacy technician license fees as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately triage, interpret, and input medication orders into the computerized system while adhering to the pharmacy's accuracy and productivity standards. Conduct audits of input versus documentation and make necessary corrections.
- Perform drug calculations, including basic mathematical conversions (e.g., milligrams).
- Address issues related to claim denials identified during adjudication and follow up on claims in the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicaid claim regulations and procedures.
- Generate reports and keep management informed about unpaid claims and those pending follow-up.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients in alignment with company values.
- Assist with drug preparation and dispensing under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned, which may include support in various areas of the pharmacy as directed by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a pharmacy-related role.
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceuticals, medication terminology, and the metric system; proficiency in computer operations.
- Licenses/Certifications: As required by state regulations and business needs.
- Detail-oriented, goal-driven, team-oriented, with strong customer service and communication skills.
