This role is integral to the effective management of the Women, Infants, and Children Supplemental Food Program (WIC). The selected candidate will deliver expert nutritional guidance to women, infants, and children enrolled in the program, ensuring the highest standards of care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the WIC program.
2. Develop, coordinate, and implement nutritional services tailored to the needs of eligible clients.
3. Evaluate the effectiveness of WIC services provided both in-clinic and through remote consultations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics.
- Completion of an ACEND accredited program.
- Certification as a Dietitian in Washington upon hire.
- National CDR Registered Dietitian certification upon hire.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Washington Medical Assistant Registration within 60 days of hire.
- Minimum of 1 year of nutritional experience, ideally in an ambulatory care or community health setting.
