Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Curriculum Specialist to join our team at Rockford Public Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum that aligns with state and national standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of a diverse student population.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other education professionals to ensure curriculum is aligned with school and district goals.
  • Provide professional development and coaching to teachers on best practices in curriculum design and implementation.
  • Assess and analyze student data to inform curriculum decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in curriculum design and implementation.
Requirements
  • Illinois Teaching License with appropriate endorsements and certifications.
  • Knowledge of state and national standards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and other education professionals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Working Conditions

This position requires moderate in-district travel as well as intermittent in-state and out-of-state travel. Intermittent prolonged and irregular hours of work may be required.
