Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Fairview Hospital. As an MRI Technologist, you will utilize advanced imaging equipment to capture high-quality images that aid in patient diagnosis.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and check patients prior to MRI procedures
  • Acquire and review patient questionnaires, charts, and data/requisitions to determine contraindications for MRI examinations
  • Verify and validate patient screening safety forms
  • Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols and conduct daily quality assurance checks
  • Assist with scheduling patients and educate them on MRI procedures, equipment, and exams
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after exams
  • Administer contrast agents as necessary and acquire, archive, transmit, and print images via PACS
  • Complete after-hours transmission of images and paperwork, and report any malfunctions or potential equipment issues
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent institution
  • Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in good standing
  • Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(MR)(ARRT)) within one year of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist or experience in other imaging modalities
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $82,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
