Wastewater Engineer

Weston & Sampson is seeking an Engineer I with our Wastewater Discipline to join our team in Worcester or Foxborough, MA offices. The ideal candidate will have 0 to 2 years of experience in the evaluation, design, and construction of municipal wastewater collection and treatment systems.

• Assist project managers with the preparation of engineering studies, design plans, and specifications.
• Perform project tasks including manhole inspections, data gathering, field inspections, surveying, and construction observation.
• Conduct engineering design, data review, and tabulation, data management, and analysis, and prepare technical reports.
• Work on a variety of civil engineering projects, with an emphasis on studies, evaluations, designs, and rehabilitation of wastewater and stormwater collection systems.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting and design skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Background in hydraulics is a plus.
• Industrial wastewater treatment or operations experience is a plus.
• EIT Certification in Massachusetts is a plus.
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software products.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
