Atrium Health, a leading community-focused academic healthcare system, is seeking a full-time Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join its Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Levine Children's in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Responsibilities- Primarily clinical responsibilities with support for research, quality improvement, and education.
- Conduct outpatient clinics at Levine Children's Specialty Center and serve patients across the Charlotte Metro Region and NC foothills through well-staffed satellite clinics.
- Share inpatient service and collaborate closely with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and receive mentorship from experienced GI group.
The team includes 14 physicians and 7 APPs, with support services including registered dietitians, psychologists, social workers, and dedicated nursing staff.
Specialty ProgramsAtrium Health offers active programs in Neurogastroenterology, Motility disorders, DGBI, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, IBD transition, Nutrition support/Home TPN, feeding clinic, weight management, and Hepatology specialties.
Academic EnvironmentLevine Children's hosts a top-notch pediatric residency program and is a regional campus for Wake Forest University School of Medicine, with plans to launch the Wake Forest University School of Medicine - Charlotte Campus in 2025.
