Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist PRN role at Johnston-Willis Hospital is a dynamic opportunity for a skilled healthcare professional to provide high-quality patient-centered care. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for managing the complete process of occupational therapeutic care for assigned patients, in coordination with the physician and patient care team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify therapeutic needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide purposeful and skilled interaction care, using procedures and techniques to produce a change in condition/function consistent with the physician's plan of care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Prioritize caseload, determine daily staffing needs, and coordinate assignments/handoffs to ensure efficient care delivery.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Occupational Therapy (OT) degree and licensure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
