Position Overview

The Beverage Service Professional is tasked with the preparation and delivery of drinks and food items to patrons while ensuring exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  2. Welcome guests warmly upon their arrival and consistently provide proactive service.
  3. Deliver prompt, friendly, and professional service to both guests and team members.
  4. Prepare and decorate beverages according to established recipes and portion guidelines.
  5. Serve and present drinks to guests with care.
  6. Verify guest identification and serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  7. Process payments accurately, including cash handling and credit card transactions.
  8. Maintain and stock the bar with necessary supplies, including beverages, glassware, and garnishes.
  9. Ensure the quality and freshness of all beverage-related perishables.
  10. Handle situations involving intoxicated guests with professionalism.
  11. Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve collective goals.
  12. Maintain a calm, tactful, and creative approach in all interactions.
  13. Contribute to a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable work environment.
  14. Deliver consistent service and quality products to enhance operational efficiency.
  15. Lead by example, adhering to operational standards and expectations.
  16. Identify opportunities to enhance revenue, particularly in food and beverage services.
  17. Participate in all required departmental meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of six months of experience in bartending within a full-service establishment.
  • Highly motivated and energetic individual.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Results-oriented with a commitment to timely task completion.
  • Adaptable to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company standards.
  • Capable of lifting and moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
