We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures using advanced equipment and your knowledge of anatomy and patient positioning.
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI examinations with proper contrast media protocols.
- Identify anatomical orientation on all required images and ensure proper film identification.
- Evaluate the quality of MRI procedures and determine if additional imaging is required, prior to communicating procedure information to radiologists.
- Participate in on-call duties as assigned to meet department needs.
- 6 months of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience as an MRI or CT technologist.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT registered.
- Virginia State license required.
- Preferred: Certification by the ARRT in MRI.
