Senior Microbiologist

AmplifyBio is a pioneering contract research organization that offers a comprehensive range of services, including discovery stage R&D work, preclinical CRO, and manufacturing services for cell, gene, and mRNA-based therapeutics.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Microbiologist to join our team at our Manufacturing Enablement Center in New Albany, OH.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in microbiology, with experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry laboratory or in an academic laboratory. They will be responsible for performing routine environment and utilities monitoring sampling and testing, as well as conducting microbiological test procedures for GMP in process and product lot release.

The successful candidate will also contribute to the QC laboratory maintenance and the lab operations systems, working with QC management to continuously improve QC operations procedures and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine environment and utilities monitoring sampling and testing.
• Conduct microbiological test procedures for GMP in process and product lot release.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant biological sciences (Microbiology degree preferred) with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry laboratory or in an academic laboratory.
• Strong background in microbiology, with experience in microbiological test procedures.
