About the Role

AEG is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our EHS team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, and visitors across our touring shows, events, and corporate sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement EHS Programs: Create and maintain effective EHS programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments and Inspections: Identify and mitigate potential hazards, conduct regular inspections, and provide feedback to management and employees.
  • Investigate Incidents and Nonconformities: Investigate and analyze incidents, near misses, and nonconformities, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Provide Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees understand EHS policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with management, employees, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration on EHS matters.
  • Monitor and Report EHS Performance: Track and report EHS performance metrics, including incident rates, injury frequencies, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Management, Public Health, or a related field, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in EHS, preferably in the entertainment or live events industry.
  • Certifications and Training: OSHA 30-Hour General Industry and/or Construction certification, and certifications in fall protection, rigging, electrical work, and HAZWASTE.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
