Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Machine Operator to join our team at Winland Foods. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our packaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain the flow of products from storage to packaging machines
  • Clear product jams and perform routine maintenance on packaging equipment
  • Operate and maintain code daters, printers, and labelers
  • Monitor and adjust scales to ensure accurate weights
  • Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and objectives
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Good communication and math skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and push loaded totes
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and technical training
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
