About the Role:

As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide a supportive and therapeutic environment for our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing safe and effective de-escalation techniques to support clients in crisis
  • Serving as a positive role model and promoting a supportive atmosphere
  • Communicating important observations and updates to the Program Director
  • Documenting client progress notes daily
  • Encouraging client engagement in activities of daily living (ADLs) and coping skill applications
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
  • At least one year of experience working with adolescent populations
  • Quick decision-making skills and a growth mindset
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and federal and state background check
