About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team at the Children's Center for Autism (CCA). As an RBT, you will play a vital role in providing life-changing treatment to individuals with autism and/or intellectual disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of professionals under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Provide direct support to clients to increase appropriate skills, such as communication, and decrease challenging behaviors, such as aggression.
  • Collect data on client progress using electronic devices and participate in ongoing training and education opportunities.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork throughout the treatment day.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $31,824.00-$41,600.00 per year, or $15.30-$20.00 per hour, based on years of experience as an RBT.
  • A comprehensive 2-3 week training program on ABA techniques, CPR, SAMA, and other Texana Center procedures.

Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A current Registered Behavior Technician Certification obtained through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in ABA, psychology, education, or a related field, and experience as an RBT in an ABA program.
Physical Requirements
  • The ability to perform SAMA and CPR, with training provided to employees once hired.
  • The ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting (15#- 45#), pushing, stooping, light carrying (15#), repeated bending, reaching above shoulder, simple grasping, hearing, walking, running, sitting, and twisting.
  • The ability to see, write, operate office equipment, operate a motor vehicle, and have depth perception.
