At Northern Louisiana Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled Surgical Tech to join our team.

The Surgical Tech will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide patient care in a surgical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room and surgical equipment.
  • Prepare patients for surgery by positioning them on the operating table and ensuring they are properly secured.
  • Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon during procedures.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team.
  • Assist with the cleaning and disinfection of the operating room and equipment.

Population Served:

Patients from Pediatric to Geriatric requiring general surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Endoscopy, Oral surgery, ENT (ear-nose-throat), plastics, ophthalmic, and vascular surgery.

Services are provided for inpatients and outpatients.
