Job Title: Sr Medical Screener

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Sr Medical Screener to join our team at Octapharma Plasma. As a Sr Medical Screener, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors while collecting high-quality plasma for life-saving medicines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register new and current donors and conduct a series of screening procedures to determine suitability for plasma donation
  • Maintain compliance with SOP, cGMP, and regulatory guidelines
  • Provide excellent customer service and build rapport with donors
  • Manage donor flow while adhering to standard operating procedures
  • Perform donor medical screening, including reviewing health-related documents and taking vital signs
  • Conduct finger sticks and utilize screening equipment to obtain hematocrit and protein readings
  • Perform clerical duties, including creating and maintaining donor record files and inputting information into the donor management computer software
  • Perform cashier duties related to payment of donor fees
  • Ensure all donation information is complete, accurate, and legible prior to donation
  • Follow all OSHA requirements and company personnel policies
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts
  • General computer skills
  • Licensure required by the state of employment
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to understand and follow protocol
