We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Sr Medical Screener to join our team at Octapharma Plasma. As a Sr Medical Screener, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors while collecting high-quality plasma for life-saving medicines.
Key Responsibilities:- Register new and current donors and conduct a series of screening procedures to determine suitability for plasma donation
- Maintain compliance with SOP, cGMP, and regulatory guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service and build rapport with donors
- Manage donor flow while adhering to standard operating procedures
- Perform donor medical screening, including reviewing health-related documents and taking vital signs
- Conduct finger sticks and utilize screening equipment to obtain hematocrit and protein readings
- Perform clerical duties, including creating and maintaining donor record files and inputting information into the donor management computer software
- Perform cashier duties related to payment of donor fees
- Ensure all donation information is complete, accurate, and legible prior to donation
- Follow all OSHA requirements and company personnel policies
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts
- General computer skills
- Licensure required by the state of employment
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to understand and follow protocol
- Formal training
