We are seeking a highly skilled Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our team at Ascension Health. As a key member of our Cardiology department, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with various cardiac conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
- Coordinate discharge planning with case management to ensure seamless patient care.
- Recommend and participate in efforts to improve cost-effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
- Accept patient referrals from other physicians and act as admitting, attending, and/or consulting physician as needed.
- Participate in academic programs, such as medical education and research, as requested.
- Provide accurate and timely documentation that meets insurance company requirements.
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, including on-call schedules.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians.
- Preferred Credential: Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association.
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
