Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly floor maintenance schedules to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and safety.
  • Operate and maintain various floor equipment, including vacuums, burnishers, scrubbers, wet vacs, carpet extractors, and imops.
  • Apply knowledge of floor procedures, including dust mopping, mopping, stripping, and application of floor finish.
  • Ensure proper signage is placed at hazard locations, such as wet floors.
  • Handle chemicals and follow infection control policies and proper PPE use.
  • Identify and report mechanical issues with equipment.
  • Clean and maintain flooring in patient and non-patient areas, offices, common areas, hallways, and common area restrooms.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in the care and maintenance of resilient floors.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
