We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Samuel Contract Staffing. As a key member of our Senior Living & Health Care team, you will be responsible for supporting and carrying out the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and total needs of the residents.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Provide direct supervision to nurses and lead the delivery of health care and related health and medical services.
- Quality Assurance: Plan, develop, and implement procedures and policies that enhance the quality of life for people receiving services and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and nursing practice standards.
- Nurse Management: Develop and implement nursing department budgets in coordination with our management team and provide effective nurse management that assures utilization of personnel to best meet the needs of the people receiving support and services.
- Training and Development: Develop and implement health care related training that assures the best possible delivery of health related support and services.
- Patient Care: Ensure that patient care plans contain accurate documentation and are amended as needed.
- A fire and passion for working with seniors.
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
- Currently licensed as a RN in Illinois.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school preferred.
- Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred.
- Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role preferred.
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
