Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and friendly Food Runner/Expo to join our team at Din Tai Fung. As a Food Runner/Expo, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by running food to guests in a timely manner, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring that all food and beverages are prepared and presented to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run food to guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all food and beverages are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the Expo Station and Takeout Packing Station.
  • Pack takeout orders according to Din Tai Fung's Takeout Packing SOP.
  • Clean and sanitize all equipment and utensils.
  • Assist with regular deep cleaning of the restaurant.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all proprietary information, including recipes and Standard Operating Procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced food service environment preferred.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Positive and professional attitude.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
