Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals who require a moderate level of monitoring and assessment. This is an intermediary level of hospital care, often referred to as telemetry units, intermediate care units, direct observation units, step-down units, or transitional care units.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients in the PCU
- Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Document patient information and progress
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in the PCU specialty
- Current RN licensure in the state of California
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, nights
