Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Congenital Cardiac Sonographer to join our accredited Congenital Pediatric Echo Lab in Houston, TX. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will work collaboratively using advanced ultrasound equipment to perform echocardiograms on pediatric patients with congenital heart disease in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct echocardiograms on pediatric patients with congenital heart conditions
* Verify patient identity and obtain health history and cooperation prior to the exam
* Ensure that ultrasound examinations align with the patient's clinical history and presentation
* Inform the physician of any contraindications to the procedure
* Demonstrate proficiency in various echocardiogram modalities
* Analyze medical records, prepare and present preliminary reports for cardiologist review, including comparisons with previous studies
* Perform measurements and calculations per laboratory and IAC guidelines
* Provide oral summaries of preliminary findings to cardiologists

Requirements:

* Adhere to all MHHS policies and procedures
* Comply with the terms of the MSA
* Possess the necessary specialty experience and qualifications for the role
