Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant Healthcare. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, voice, fluency disorders, head injury, stroke, aphasia, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Therapy Plans: Create and implement individualized therapy plans to address patients' communication disorders.
  • Conduct Standardized Tests: Administer standardized tests to accurately diagnose communication disorders and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Establish Treatment Goals and Milestones: Collaborate with patients to establish realistic treatment goals and milestones.
  • Document Progress and Reports: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Communicate with Relevant Parties: Update patient progress to relevant healthcare professionals and family members.
  • Stay Current with Industry Developments: Engage in ongoing research and professional development to stay current with the latest speech and language therapy techniques and best practices.
Requirements
  • Experience and Education: A Master's degree in Speech Pathology and a minimum of 1+ years of experience in the field of speech therapy.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
  • Professional Qualities: A positive and patient demeanor, with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
