Job Overview

Position Title: Production Project Manager

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000

Location: Walker, LA

Role Summary

The Production Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the commercial projects team by managing all stages of the project lifecycle, from the initial purchase order to the final system commissioning. This position requires effective communication of technical documentation with both vendors and clients, including equipment specifications, material cut sheets, relevant project drawings, and operational manuals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Fabrication Engineering and design teams to ensure that project designs align with customer specifications and requirements.
  • Manage project scope and develop comprehensive equipment lists and bills of materials (BOMs).
  • Create and maintain a detailed project schedule, monitoring progress throughout execution.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and act as a liaison between clients and the operations team.
  • Work closely with production, purchasing, and planning departments to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in coordinating production and fabrication, including managing external vendors.
  • Background in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational capabilities.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
Work Environment

This position is a permanent, fully on-site role located in an industrial warehouse setting, which includes an office area, mechanical and electrical installation shop, and future expansion plans.
