About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a critical role in protecting our nation's defense infrastructure from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement security solutions to protect against advanced threats and vulnerabilities
  • Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas
  • Implement infrastructure and cyber security controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies to ensure the effectiveness of our security solutions
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on network security and vulnerability assessment
  • Experience with security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption
  • Knowledge of security frameworks, including NIST and DoD
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud security and DevOps
  • Knowledge of security certifications, including CompTIA Security+ and CISSP
  • Experience with security tools, including Splunk and ELK
