Job Title: Engineering Manager

At Communications and Power Industries LLC, we are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serving as a liaison between program management, planning, project team, finance, sales/marketing, and manufacturing management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects, including staffing, budgets, and schedules.
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and intervening with stakeholders.
  • Provide technical input to Program Management to achieve business goals.
  • Understand and interpret technical, organizational, and process aspects of tasks assigned and relate them to the technical needs of the overall project or organization.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, responding to their needs and proposing optimum and cost-effective solutions.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts and facilitate process change.
  • Lead a group of engineers and technicians as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Applied Science, or its equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant technical and management experience.
  • Proficient understanding of engineering processes and engineering design tools.
  • Understanding of software development, mechanical design, and electrical design processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Accurate and strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Highly skilled in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions.
  • Excellent independent judgment and ability to handle complex problems.
