We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Forklift-Merchandising Associate to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move merchandise and supplies throughout the facility, while also providing exceptional customer service to our members.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a forklift to pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets in a safe and efficient manner.
- Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, ensuring accurate inventory levels and proper storage.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and resolving any issues or concerns.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by conducting regular safety sweeps, following company policies and procedures, and reporting any hazards or incidents to management.
- Ensure the sales floor and merchandising presentation are maintained to company standards, including zoning, stocking, and rotating merchandise, and setting up and cleaning product displays.
- Process club pick up orders, including selecting and staging products according to company policy and procedures.
- 90 days of prior experience with forklift certification and ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Customer service, retail experience, and supervising a team are preferred qualifications.
