Your Role as a Nurse Supervisor:As a Nurse Supervisor, you will manage the healthcare delivery system within your assigned nursing unit.
You will evaluate patient health, set objectives, develop care plans, track progress, provide patient education, and ensure the competence of support staff.Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with nursing plans, medical records, and referrals according to established protocols.
Facilitate progressive patient care through teamwork and patient education.
Assist the Director of Nursing in maintaining the clinical proficiency of nursing staff and ensuring adherence to licensure requirements.
Identify and address potential issues, prioritize tasks, and recommend corrective actions.
Oversee unit cleanliness, coordinate patient care with other departments, and manage the adequate supply of medical resources and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications & Requirements:Education
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
Experience
Preferably one year of clinical experience
Licenses/Certifications
Current RN licensure in the employing State required.
CPR certification acquisition and maintenance mandatory.
