Key Responsibilities:


Join the UHPO Program Team tasked with overseeing and executing a technical program focused on helicopter development, integration, qualification, production, modification, fielding, and sustainment.

Evaluate and establish unique verification requirements for customer-country helicopter products.
Assist in formulating acquisition strategies, estimating program costs and schedules, and conducting risk assessments along with mitigation strategies.
Acquire, evaluate, implement, and verify compliance with product airworthiness standards.
Draft and prepare Contract Requirements Packages (CRPs), including Statements of Work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL), and Data Submission Lists (DSL).
Review contractor proposals for alignment with program objectives.
Ensure that CDRLs are processed, reviewed, addressed, and monitored in accordance with established procedures.
Guarantee adherence to systems engineering protocols, including the formulation of system, item, and airworthiness qualification specifications.
Support significant program technical evaluations, including System Requirements Reviews (SRR), System Functional Reviews (SFR), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), Critical Design Reviews (CDR), and System Verification Reviews (SVR).
Ensure that aircraft products meet Army airworthiness certification standards in accordance with relevant regulations and contractual obligations.
Collaborate and liaise with other Material Developers and relevant personnel.
Oversee contractor and supplier performance metrics.
Engage with and present to customer-chain representatives.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required, along with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.
Candidates must be U.S. Citizens and possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Willingness to travel domestically up to 25% of the time is necessary.
