Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida West Tampa Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients and adjust equipment to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Administer contrast media and other related procedures as needed.
  • Document patient information and exam results accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Radiologic Technology program at an accredited institution.
  • Valid ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications.
  • Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, sterile technique, and patient positioning techniques specific to CT and X-ray.
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting of patients/equipment (100+/- lbs.).
