About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Guitar Tune Tester to join our team in Corona, CA. As a key member of our global Manufacturing team, you will play a critical role in delivering operational excellence to the business and our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Thoroughly inspect guitars for finish flaws and defects
  • Tune and test guitars for playability and intonation, making minor adjustments as needed
  • Adjust truss rod and nut finishing, level and dress frets, and sand/buff neck finishes and frets
  • Build control/pick guard assemblies and review routing packets for assigned guitars
  • Manage documents and inventory of specialty guitar hardware
  • Polish guitar bodies and necks, and complete all assigned work in a timely manner
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years experience in production inspection and guitar playing experience
  • Guitar playing background and strong guitar building, woodworking, and finishing skills
  • Excellent product knowledge of all models in current and past production
  • Knowledge and skills with fret leveling/dressing, calipers, micrometer, digital multimeter, guitar building hand tools, feeler gauges, soldering equipment, and buffing wheel
