Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Slidell Memorial Hospital. This role involves traveling to various locations to provide exceptional care in the field of radiology and cardiology.

Certification Requirements
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
  • TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
  • EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
  • Tech Cert Verification - National Certification
  • State License Verification
  • NURSYS Verification
Job Responsibilities
  • Specialty focus in Radiology / Cardiology.
  • Required: Associate degree in radiologic sciences; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience in allied health.
  • Welcoming first-time travelers.
  • Key duties include patient preparation, post-procedure cleanup, documentation, operating fluoroscopy equipment, hemodynamic monitoring, and quality control.
Job Requirements
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • Must hold a valid Registered Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice with ARRT registration.
Schedule Information

This position requires NIGHT WEEKEND CALL on designated shifts.

Additional Information
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License or government-issued photo ID.
  • AHA certifications are mandatory; RQI accepted.
  • Specific certifications are required for various nursing specialties.
  • National Certification must be updated annually and verified prior to the start date.
  • State License Verification is required before commencing work.
