About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medicine Aide to join our team at Highgate at Paoli Pointe. As a Medication Administration Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and medicated creams to patients as prescribed by physicians, adhering to state regulations and standards of practice.
  • Maintain accurate records of medication administration, including documentation of patient vital signs and medication usage.
  • Restock and maintain medication supplies, ensuring that medication carts and rooms are clean and organized.
  • Notify the pharmacy of new medication orders and refills, ensuring timely delivery of medications to patients.
  • Perform vital sign monitoring as indicated by drug therapy, ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Have completed a state-approved medication aide training course
  • Have completed a state-approved certified nursing assistant training program
  • Be a Certified Nursing Assistant with at least one year of experience as a CNA
  • Be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to ensure patient safety and well-being
