Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at UVA Health. As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in administering anesthesia and anesthesia-related care to patients in various settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care in the main OR and satellite areas.
  • Collaborate with attending anesthesiologists to formulate patient-specific plans for anesthesia care.
  • Implement and adjust patient physiologic conditions as appropriate for the type of anesthesia and specific patient needs.
  • Transfer responsibility for patient care to other qualified providers post-operatively to ensure continuity of care and patient safety.
  • Support operating room procedures and participate in additional areas of responsibility within the expertise of the individual CRNA.
Requirements
  • Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited nursing program or eligibility to practice as a CRNA in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • No experience required.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • Licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification.
