About the Role

The Student Engagement Specialist will be responsible for implementing and coordinating the Second Year Experience program at Calumet College.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement strategies to support the transition of second-year students, with a focus on retention, persistence, and success.
  2. Oversee the coordination of second-year seminars, academic workshops, and social integration activities.
  3. Analyze data related to student retention, academic performance, and satisfaction to inform program improvements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • At least one year of experience working with student populations, preferably in a high school or community college setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team, as well as being self-motivated.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is around $70,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
